Cihan began his career as IT Manager in Gelgit Technologies, one of the most innovative IT infrastructure technology company in Istanbul. After a year, he joined Verscom as the NOC Manager, taking charge of 8 NOC engineers. During this time he re-organized the processes, procedures and responsibilities of the NOC, creating a successful and well run team. After his remarkable achievement in NOC Management, he moved in to the Commercial Department taking on the role of Sales Account Executive. Moving swiftly to the Account Executive position, Cihan was given the responsibility to manage on some of the key projects for Carrier Voice successfully completing all projects. Following a successful 2 years as an Account Executive, he was promoted to the Senior Sales Manager for Carrier Voice. His primary role is to manage daily activities and to deal with more than 25 high profile accounts such as PTTs and Tier1s. Using his extensive knowledge and experience Cihan has helped create a very effective and efficient Sales Team. Cihan has been with Verscom for 5 years.


Senior Buying Manager

Serkan has been involved in the telecoms industry since June 2005. After obtaining an Honours Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Computing and Information Systems, Serkan joined Band-X where he began his telecoms career as a Carrier Voice Administrator. This role had taught Serkan the fundamentals of how companies within the telecoms industry operate and had mastered his particular duties very quickly. After 6 months of doing this role, Serkan was promoted as a Junior Account Manager on the buy side. This new position had helped Serkan to develop an excellent understanding of the operating model for Band-X from the bottom up. Within 3 months he had used his skills and knowledge from his previous role to help him to develop one of his accounts as the most profitable supplier within the company. In January 2007, Serkan joined Verscom as an Account Executive. He used his previous experience and relationships to help increase the Carrier Voice business by adding new destinations, which are currently part of Verscom’s niche routes. At the start of 2008, Verscom had expanded the Carrier Voice department by introducing new members of staff on both the Sales and Buying side, meaning that Serkan was promoted to Senior Buying Manager.

Eren began his career at Koc.net as a developer, where he was part of a strong team involved in several key projects. Through multitasking, planning, development and management Eren advanced to become a Senior Developer at Koc.net. Within 1 year Eren moved to PDA Communications where he was employed in the newly developed Global Communication team concentrating on new services and solutions for newly introduced PDA’s into Turkey. During his time at PDA-Communication Eren became involved in strategic sales, assisting the company in reaching all its financial targets. In 2006 Eren moved to Verscom as the Manager of the Network Operation Center for the Carrier team. Using his extensive knowledge gained at previous companies he has formed a professional team and manages a team of 8 qualified engineers. In addition to this Eren is responsible for the maintenance of the Verscom Carrier Voice network and infrastructure. Eren has created a NOC that is essential to the continued success of Verscom and the Carrier Voice department.
